Araceli?

Thoughts, I don't know where I heard it (it is a real name) but for some reason this morning it just literally popped into my head and has been hanging around :)  Thoughts?  Middle name would be either Irene or Jeannette after great grandmother.

Re: Araceli?

  • To be honest, it sounds like the name of a type of pasta.

    Is it pronounced Are-a-chel-i?

It's ahr-uh-sell-ee, it's a Spanish name. I've also seen people spell it Aracely, it's just okay. I don't swoon over it.

I have a friend who named her daughter Araceli. Her husband is from Mexico. I always assumed it was a traditional Mexican name. I think it is pretty.
