Sharp internal cramps?

I've been having these sharp internal cramps for the past couple hours. I'm so confused as to what it might be from.
I don't really have any symptoms of having a uti- but I've never had one before so I could be wrong
Any ideas of what it could be?

Re: Sharp internal cramps?

  • When I had UTI's it would be a constant pain in my pelvic area accompanied with pressue.

Could it be RLP? I read at this point you should be experiencing soreness as everything is stretching.

Hope you feel beter soon and its nothing too serious XX

  • I was a bit thrown off when my RLP started this past week, it didn't feel like I expected it to.  Maybe that's what yours is too if you haven't felt them yet.

  • You could be having BH? I've started to have BH when I'm  not drinking enough water.
  • GI trouble?

  • I think it's BH. It hurts super bad.

  • BH don't hurt....it's just tightness in your uterus. I get them every once in awhile while busy at work and haven't drank enough water. It's just tightness no pain...if it is tightness with pain that comes and goes I might call your doctor. But most likely it is RLP but if it continues or gets worse I would def call your doctor just to be on the safe side....Hope you feel better!
  • The sharp pains are around my cervix area possibly? Idk.

    And thank y'all

  • When I had constant pain it ended up being a UTI and I didn't think it was until I dipped my own urine at work. Also, i find if i Don't drink enough water I cramp a little more than usual.good luck
  • A friend of mine's BH hurt her a lot.
I get quite bad "period" type pain, in stomach and vagina. Also sore, stretching, almost stabbing pain either side of my uterus, which I guess it RLP? Feels like abs are ripping apart. No one says how much this whole thing hurts!
  • Had to have my mum look at my back cuz I was having extreme back pain too and she said my tail bone area is super swollen.
Thoughts and prayers please:( I'm nervous and probably will
Have to go to the ER if it gets worse.

  • A friend of mine had incredibly intense RLP, and ended up going in because it was so bad she thought something was wrong...turns out, there wasn't- just baby stretching out the joint.

Is it intermittent pain, or constant throbbing? Anything specific trigger it?

I had a minor UTI when I got pregnant and it was insanely uncomfortable and would never have pegged it for one. It would wake me up from a dead sleep and until I chugged enough water (and usually pooped), my stomach cramped up too bad to relax. Once I got meds for the UTI- it vanished(and never returned), so it wasn't hormones or anything baby related that caused the pains...but alas, the ugly UTI. I didn't feel any discomfort when I peed or anything- so it wouldn't hurt to go in and get it checked out if it keeps up for more than a couple days.

  • It comes and goes. Mostly when I sit up. It hurts worse than any menstrual cramp, and knocks the air out of me.
I hope it's RLS. I just hope everything is ok. Not knowing is just as bad as the pain I'm feeling

  • I was having intermittent pain and my doctor asked me to time it to rule out contractions. I think for me it ends up being related to sexy things like gas and constipation.
