Symptoms Waning at 10 weeks?

Ever since we found out at 4 weeks I've been feeling lots of pregnancy symptoms (nausea, bloating, exhaustion, sore boobs, etc) everyday, almost all day. Last week, I was finally able to slow down from working a ton and symptoms became debilitating for 3 days. This week, after making rest a bigger part of my routine, I've been feeling better all around! I've been hungry and wanting to do chores! I'm thankful for feeling better, but slightly worried that fewer symptoms is a bad sign before getting to the second trimester. I have my first midwife appt on Monday when I can hopefully hear the hb. Just wondering if anyone else is (has) experiencing this.

Re: Symptoms Waning at 10 weeks?

  • It's normal. To be honest (and to make everyone hate me a little bit) I've had almost no symptoms except for mild cramping early on and sore boobs. Every pregnancy is different.

  • I've been feeling better this past week as well. I've had a few days where I felt like I had more energy. It's normal.

No, unfortunately not. ;). It's a nickname I picked up in high school for no reason that makes any sense. :D

  • I have had the same. A little gas and heartburn and that is about it
  • I am at 9 weeks and my symptoms just started tapering off too.

  • I am 11 weeks and symptoms have been so much better the last 3 days. Hardly any nausea and no vomiting. It does feel odd to be feeling okay again but I hear its totally normal.
  • Hormones peak in weeks 8-10 (according to my doctor) so symptoms should get better after 10 weeks. I'll be 13 weeks on Tuesday and the past week has been so much easier to handle.

  • All I do is get sick and eat so I can get sick some more :( this baby is the hardest I have carried yet...
  • I was wondering this too. I was sick at about wks 9 to 10 ish but have been feeling better since. My boobs feel better, not so bloated and my RLP has lessened. I still got exhausted atuums bday party last night but overall feel quite well. Sometimes makes me think " is there really a baby in there? " my pants don't fit plus I've had my 11w dating u/s and everything was fine, but it still feels a little unreal :)
  • ME TOO! These last couple days have been such a breath of fresh air! :-)

  • I am 10 wks today and the last few days have been so much better. I can't help but wonder a bit- I always read about how much worse symptoms are with twins. But I have had 2 ultrasounds and I know they are in there. I never thought I would be a little sad to see my nausea disappear!

  • I envy you ladies, I'm 10 weeks today and the only improvement I've seen is that I can eat 3 bites of solid food. I'm always nauseous, tired, and bloated. It's still hard to keep some items down. Just went for an ultrasound and baby is doing awesome, so my doctor tells me to embrace the symptoms.. It means baby is healthy... But I can't help wishing that my symptoms would ease up a little
  • 10 weeks is when my morning sickness went away and it was nerve wracking at first but I had my last u/s at 11weeks and everything was A.O.K!

This week my sore boobs came back though...

  • Around 8-9 weeks my symptoms started to leave me. I was a bit worried but I keep telling myself everything is fine. At my first appt at 9+5 weeks I was told my blood work came back fine and I had my urine tested at the office and she didn't say anything so obviously in still pregnant! Lol I honestly haven't had a lot if symptoms other the sore breasts and very moody, picky when it came to what I ate.. also around week 7 i felt nauseated for a whole week, and at week 8 i wanted to cry all the time. Now all I have is heart burn after everything I eat, my sence of smell is crazy!! And (TMI) lots of vaginal discharge. I guess every pregnancy is different. And it's also nice to see that I'm not the only one that has lots the few symptoms I had kind of early
  • I'll be 9 weeks on Monday and my symptoms are tapering off too. My biggest symtpoms were sore boobs and bloating. My boobs are a little sore in the morning lately, but that's about it now. I'm going in for my next appointment Thursday.
