Acupuncture rec's??

Hey ladies!! I am going through the dreaded IF process and am starting to look into the whole Acupunture thing. Problem is, I have no idea where to start. The idea of sticking more needles into me at this point is a little nerve-racking and kinda freaking me out, but whatever it takes, right? I just want to make sure I am going to a reputable place. Has anyone been through this and has a great recommendation? I live on the east side, but also work downtown. I am very flexible with locations, as long as they are good!
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Acupuncture rec's??

  • I go to Yin's Acupuncture and Integrative Healing. Dr. Yin is WONDERFUL! She is Chinese so sometimes she is a little hard to understand, but still amazing. I have only been going a month so I not sure if it works yet, but I am much more hopeful trying with acupuncture than I was with all the meds my dr is trying to get me to take.

  • I went to Dr. Fu at Ling's Accupuncture for a few months. I am 42 with fibroids, endometriosis, and adnomyosis and we got pregnant the 3rd month trying! My doctor was even shocked with the news!

I also believe my chiropractor, Dr. Fuller, was a great help. He does a lot more than focus on aligning a back. Somethings might sound "hocus pocus" but I think they work!!!

I HIGHLY recommend both!!! I don't think I would be pregnant without either one of them!

    Best wishes!
  • I have a degree in Acupuncture but have yet to take my boards and start practicing. Dr. Yin is a very good recommendation! She was one of my professors while studying at Florida College of Integrative Medicine and is extremely knowledgable! Not sure what your budget is but the school I just mentioned has a student clinic that is over seen by licensed acupuncturists and is located near the Florida Mall.
