Ultrasound ?

I had my first ultrasound today at 5 weeks. I have been slightly bleeding sat sun and today. Gestational sac measured at 4 wks 6days. They could define a yolk sac. Have any of you experienced no yolk sac at this point or defined yet?

I meant they could not define a yolk sac but only a gs at this point

My RE would not do an ultra sound any earlier than 6 weeks for this very reason of making people freak out since it is still so early. When will you go back??

I'm still waiting for re to call me back. I had blood drawn too but I don't get results tomorrow. After they call ill know next step with ultrasound. Now the blood is bright red. trying to be positive but its so hard.

that's pretty early for an u/s that will show something.  try not to worry yet (not an easy task, i know).  my first u/s wasn't until 6w2d. because they didn't think they would see much before hand.  hang in there!

My first one was at 5w4d and I think we didn't see a yolk sac either. Hopefully everything works out ok.

My 1st was at 6wks and we barely seen the yolk sac. The nurse said she does not like early u/s bc it gets us all worried over nothing. At my 7wk u/s I had a heartbeat and a very defined baby blob as I called it lol!

Mine was also measuring a week behind on the first u/s and only 3 days behind on the 2nd

I got my beta back and aug 12 it was 406. Now aug 19 1180 definitely not doubling but re wants to give it hope that its slow growing at first. 2 Pio shots in the am & pm and ultrasound next Monday for comparison to know.
