Stupid spraying question

My 5.5 month old has just started baby led weaning 4 days ago. She picks the food up and puts it in her mouth and licks and slobbers it up but isn't actually swallowing much more than some residue.

I have noticed that after 4 days of BLW her poops have changed to a dark brown...I assume due to food.  But, the poops are fully absorbed into the diaper.  There is nothing on the diaper.  Do I spray them?  Or do I wait until the poop has some substance and there is something to spray off?

I give all poo dipes a good rinse/spray before they join the group of "to be washed"

I didn't spray till it was like peanut butter.

I didn't spray til it had food pieces. Unfortunately she started eating right away with BLW, so we had a day or so You'll see chunks of food in the diaper first that need to come out, but then once she eats more the whole poop turns to peanut butter consistancy.
