Reusing shower cards/ DIY

Hi ladies,
My friend did something that I am going to try. She recycled her baby shower cards to make nursery art. She had a peacock theme in the nursery, and each feather was made from pieces of the cards.

If you are not artistic, you can use paper punches in the shape of flowers or butterflies. I put a link below, but I am inept at mobile bumping. I'm not sure if it is clicky.

What a sweet idea! I think I want to do something like that. One of the highlights of my baby shower was the gift from my mom, who gave me a box of cards and notes from her shower when she was pregnant with me. There were things like notes from both my grandmothers, a telegram from my grandparents... it was amazing. I cried like a baby. (While my MIL snapped photos. WTF, lady? Not every moment needs to be immortalized. Certainly not moments when my eyes are red and puffy.)
