Stoller without infant car seat - Question?

Hi!  I am looking at buying a second seat for my B-Ready stroller.  Is anyone already putting their LO into a heavy duty stroller without the infant car seat?  Anyone know what the recommendation is for when to do this is?  I looked on manufactures web and they said recommended from 4 lbs up?  Seems young to me.

  • We have the Chicco Liteway, you can use it from birth... generally if a stroller reclines all the way flat you're good. You can buy a body support to use if you feel like they are too small without it.

  • I've had DD in our BOB for strolls in the neighborhood. It fully reclines and I use a generic head support from BRU.

We have the City Mini GT and DD was in it from birth.  It reclines flat and she's super chunky, so she fits pretty well without any kind of support.  I still bought the carseat adapter, for when we go to the mall or wherever.
  • We have been using the B-Agile recently without the car seat attached. It lays back so flat it can be used from birth on.

  • We have a double Bob and have been using it since birth. My husband wanted a jogging stroller and most can't have two car seats. It reclines almost flat and the babies love it.

This for us too. We use the City Mini for longer walks without anything and put the adapter on when I'm in and out of the car for errands.

  • I recently started using my City Select with the regular stroller seat (she has almost outgrown the bassinet!!). It reclines pretty much flat and she really enjoys it.
