NB diapering- GMD or kissaluvs fitteds?

Hi, I've read a lot information about CDing newborns. It seems like a lot of people like either the GMD orange prefolds or the kissaluvs fitteds size 0. Which one would you recommend? I am planning on using thirsties XS covers with either. TIA!

Honestly I would get some of both. Or if the cost of the KL0s is an issue, look into the GMD workhorse fitteds. They function essentially the same as the KL0s but are like half the price.

I prefer the kissaluvs fitteds. My baby is only a month old though, so I don't have a ton of experience. The GMD prefolds are good, but I feel like they're bulkier and it's harder to see what I'm doing with them in the middle of the night. I haven't had blow outs or leaks with either. Have you considered GMD workhorses? I think a lot of people like those too.

I've only been doing this for about a week, but so far I HATE prefolds. So I guess I prefer my kissaluvs. I use the prefolds with a snappi, and it takes a few attempts to get it on well. The kissaluvs are more fool proof. My two week old baby is super squirmy though. I do still use the prefolds for burping and stuffing pockets, so maybe get some of each to see what you like.

I loved our prefolds. We had 2 kissaluvs size 0 and didn't use them much after about 4 weeks because they were always super soaked after 1.5-2 hours. We used the newborn prefolds until 9 weeks, and are still using the small size at 8 months.

I just got a set of Boingos, and they are so much easier for me than Snappis. They're kinda pricey IMO, but I wish I had ordered them sooner!

I've had all three (Kissaluvs, prefolds, and workhorses).  I prefer the workhorses.  My DH actually reaches for them over pockets.  Also, they are easier to use with fleece liners than the prefolds.

For our (soon-to-be-used) newborn stash we got some GMD workhorses based on reviews and price. If we like them, we may get more in the next size.

We got 1 dozen of the GMD Orange prefolds, 6 of the GMD Workhorses, and 6 of the Kissaluvs. I'm excited to try them out. DS is 3 days old and we're waiting for his cord stump to fall off.

We have 21 kissaluvs 0s and that's what we use basically all the time. DH prefers them. I also have a dozen GMD nb prefolds and I use those trifolded in the covers when I'm just hanging out at home. I have not figured out the folding and snappi-ing yet because I'm lazy and she gets squirmy and I just use a fitted instead. We've had a few leaks onto covers with the trifolding, but never outside of the covers. 

I got a good deal on the Kissaluvs secondhand, probably would have gone with more prefolds and/or workhorses if I had to buy them new. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these!
