Has anyone tried bringing 1 yo to movies??

13 months to be exact...but DH and I thought it would be something fun and different to do with them. However I am prepared for them to only watch 10 minutes and then be done but thought maybe I'd be pleasantly surprised? Has anyone been daring enough to try this? TIA.

    We tried to bring my stepson to the movies several times around 2 years old. He ALWAYS got bored. One time he actually picked up his bag of popcorn and jacket and started to walk out! Personally, I think their attention spans are way too short for a movie. Maybe set up a cool fort in the living room and make some fun snacks and have a family movie at home.

    Ours are 16mo and I can't imagine taking them unless it was to one of the bump matinee features and they were supposed to sleep LOL
