My little red flags telling me how many replies/updates there are isn't updating.  Anyone else noticing this?  According to it, no one has added anything after me since my WFD post Sunday and I know that's not the case...

Mine does it kind of sporadically. Like, I will have none and then all of a sudden there were 17 (!) replies to my thread on my BMB. It must be glitchy.

Yes, what @minipenguin said.  A few kinks are still being worked out with notifications.
