Past My Due Date

I am now officialyy past my due date and I'm starting to get frustrated.  This is my second baby so I thought she come right on time or a little early my son was born at 40 weeks 1 day.  Other than the occasional BH contraction and pressure on my pelvis I have no other signs of labor.  I guess this is just a vent.  Did anyone have a second baby come later than the first?

My doctor is allowing me to go 10-12 days past my due date if everything is still OK with the baby so I'm not too concerned with induction right now but I would rather go into labor on my own.

    My first son was two days late... It is the worst feeling. I was so frustrated. I'm hoping this one will be a few days early. I would be pitching a fit if my doctors told me I had to wait the extra 10 - 12 days. Good luck!

    My second came at 41w 1 day....like a train. I had an appt the day before to make sure everything was going well, and at that point they scheduled the induction I ended up not needing.  I was also 0% effaced and dilated at the appt...so it gives you an idea how fast that can go.

    Hope you go into labor soon! :)

    My first came at 40w1d. My second was 40w4d.

    Enjoy the last few days of having an only child! It will happen soon.

    Hang in there- it is an Estimated due date. My DS was born 15 days past his EDD and taught me to relax about baby coming. Btw I am currently 2 days over due :) Good luck!

    everyone one is different. My first was 2 whole weeks late, and I had to be induced...>TWICE....and then after a full blown labor complete with 2 hours of nonstop pushing, i had to have a c-section. Needless to say, this time around having a scheduled c-section is a real blessing lol. but I feel ya....being overdue is NO FUN AT ALL! Hang in there, you're almost done!

    I'm two days past my due date, too.  My first was 3.5 weeks early (my water broke out of nowhere!), my second was 3 days early.  I'm wondering how accurate my due date is because I was breastfeeding my son when I got pregnant, and so the date isn't calculated by my last period.  The waiting is getting so frustrating!
