da*n costco cards

ok... no less than 6 people have called or emailed to say they got empty envelopes from me....  no christmas card inside...  first one, ok mom brain somehow.... but more than that??? no way!   did anyone else use costco and have this issue???  I am sure there are others who got empty envelopes from me and just arent calling....   erg.... now I have to resend and TAPE all the envelopes.... and call costco....   grrrrr

We used them and had no problems that I'm aware of.  All the houses we've gone to seem to have received the cards.  Oh and I've never received an empty envelope either from all the people that send them out.  Bummer it happened to you =[

I think someone mentioned having to tape up envelopes for their Christmas cards, I want to say they were cards from Costco but I don't remember.  That sucks though, must be crappy glue then?

On a side note, this reminded me of Seinfeld when George's fiance kicks the bucket after being poisoned from the glue on their wedding invites.  ~

Nope...  I wrote notes, stuffed and sent all the cards (ordered from costco) ... and I am SURE I did not *not* put that many cards in....  I was wondering if the gummy stuff on the envelopes didnt hold or something??   I also went through and checked the stack before mailing out...  so I just dont understand why so many people got empty envelopes from us....

That is weird!  I'm always paranoid about that stuff so I check to make sure they are sealed.  I used stick glue to shut my envelopes though cuz I didn't want to lick it.  Sorry that happened!  It is kinda funny though.

Did you ask any of them if their envelopes were open when they received them?

I sent out cards by Costco and didn't have that problem that I know of. That sucks. I'm sorry!

A few years ago the same thing happened to my sister's mail and it was someone who was going through the mail in her neighborhood.  The person would open the mail and take everything inside hoping to get a check/gift card/etc.  Did you mail it at the actual postal office/box or did you leave it in an unattended mail box outside your house? 

Even if the sticky glue didn't adhere correctly to the envelope, it shouldn't fall out that easily unless the cards are a lot smaller than the envelope.

I had that same problem last year with my costco envelopes.  They just aren't sticky.  My grandma called me and thanked me for the lovely envelope with nothing in it
