I fell in love with the name Kailynn and then googled it... With our last name all top results are a porn star and her videos :-( any ideas on alternative names? I have been searching different sites for days.

Thanks! Me and my MIL are both Catharine or Kate and I have a cousin Katrina so anything in the Kate Catherine Caitlin is out. I like Kalena/Kalina. I'm not opposed to something that is not similar to any of those either, there just wasn't much that jumped out at me, and I want something somewhat unique since we have a pretty common last name

What about spelling it differently? I have a friend who has a Kaylen. I also know a Kyelyn. I thought Kyelyn was strange at first, but it really fits her.

If Caitlin is too close to your and your MIL's name, then I'd just ditch the Kailynn idea altogether (no matter how you spell it) because it's so close to Kate/Catherine/Caitlin/Katrina anyway. I'm also not a fan of the name, especially if you're going for "something somewhat unique" because adding -lyn(n) to random syllables to create a name is a huge trend at the moment. I know three young Kaylynns in my neighborhood, FWIW. Back to the drawing bo
