Do you throw it off your list? Do more research? Say who cares and keep it anyway, even though it may not have a real history or meaning (for those of you who care about history/meaning)?
I know it's not the end all be all, but I do trust the site and there are two names I really love- Shia and Saloma that I can't find there. If nothing else it'd be nice to know meanings.
How about you?

Their database is still not 100% complete, they are still missing some very real names. I would do more research, it would not be the end-all for me on a choice I love.
I would do more research. I agree with there being alternative versions. Also there are a ton of names on there that I would never use and side eye people for so just because its on there doesn't mean anything for me.
Re: What if you can't find a name on behindthename?
I'd guess Saloma is probably an alternate of Salome, which they have: https://www.behindthename.com/name/salome
I've found that BTN sometimes doesn't have a lot alternates that I would think they'd have.
