Im starting to feel a little guilty over my pregnancy diet. In my pre-pregnancy fantasy world I figured i would eat nothing but veggies and fruit and broiled chicken but yeah....thats not happening. The smell of steamed veggies which i love makes me gag and chicken is nauseating
The ONLY things that I can get down, and make me feel better are carbs! Bagels, muffins, fries, crackers, toast ect. This has been getting worse over the weeks...please tell me i am not the only person lacking a nutritious diet.

Its better to eat what you can than eat something you know will make you sick! Dont feel guilty, but as you feel better work some of those things into your diet..
I love carbs during the first 6 weeks, but I started working in sweet potatoes, and whole wheat breads and made better choices that way.
I still CANNOT get down protein so I added almonds and beans into some meals to try to help!
Its ok to gain weight. My doctor said 10 lbs a trimester is great and I am pretty on track with that.

i figure 2nd tri is where i will worry about all that pesky nutrition stuff. but yes, my many daily slices of toast ARE whole wheat, and i am rockin' fruit.
