I have a friend with a Mireya which is I suppose would be the anglicized spelling of the Spanish pronunciation (me-ray-uh). I like it pronounced better that way than with an L sound, but I don't like that it wouldn't be obvious you're wanting it pronounced that way. If you want Mir-el-uh, I'd spell it Mirela. But that looks made up and reminds me of Mirena. I guess this name is just a no for me.
