If you nap, how long do you nap for? I am forcing myself to stay awake just a while longer to make dinner and a double for the freezer and then I plan on crashing. Hopefully DD sleeps for an hour more, but last time I laid down when she did I slept the entire two hours and was not ready to get up when she woke up. I am pretty sure I could just stay in bed for the day lately, I feel so lazy!
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
No, even when it was just DS I rarely napped. Sometimes I did. Especially while pregnant, but it wasn't a regular thing. I doubt it will ever even be an option again.
Never. I always wake up feeling sick and worse than before. I never slept when the kids slept. Too many things I'd rather do!
This is me. Unless I get enough time I wake up feeling worse than before. Plus, I like to have a moment to myself without kids around! The exception being when I was pregnant AND DS was going through a lets-get-up-before-dawn's-crack phase and I was falling asleep all over the place anyway so I would end up napping sometimes. That was only 1st tri or so though because mid-2nd tri he stopped napping anyway.
Yep. I do daily. I usually just sleep for half an hour. If I skip a day or two, I get bad headaches. I know that down the rode when I have more kids, the napping days will be over. So I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

This is me. I've seriously napped three times in my entire adult life. Once when I had walking pneumonia and it tired me something fierce. Another time I had gallbladder surgery and my drugs + pain made me crash. And the third time when Alexis was a newborn, I decided to try and nap while she did because I was exhausted. I felt like CRAP when I woke and 40x more tired.
When I was pregnant with DS I napped every day that DD napped. Now, I never nap, unless I had a really rough night. I like having the quiet time to myself plus DD doesn't always nap let alone at the same time as DS.
I looove naps. When I was pregnant, I napped almost every day. Now I feel like I have too much to do during DD's nap, so it's more rare. I'd definitely still benefit from them though. Oh naps... how I miss thee...
I napped more before kids than I do now. I miss it sometimes (or more the idea of it) but it throws my whole day off. I use naps to bump, clean up the house or meal prep. And If I nap then I stay up later at night which throws off the next day
On Sundays after church, my parents take DD1 and DD2 which leaves me with the youngest three. I usually nap in the afternoon for an hour or so with them.
Sometimes I will it just depends on how the day has went. If I have finished all my cleaning and household things sometimes I will fall asleep next to DS. If I cant sleep I will usually just lay there with him and watch tv or something.

I dont really. I have a few times and i always wake up in a panic bc for a min i dont know what time it is, what day it is, if i have to be somewhere. Its rather funny to witness my panic, my husband tells me, lol.
I usally do just chill out during naptime. At most ill do some dishes and fold the laundry while i watch tv
I wish I could nap but my DS is a trainwreck when it comes to sleep. Today he only logged a 45 minute afternoon nap. I barely got finished a phone call when he woke up and wouldn't go back down.
Yes, and I love it! Probably 2 times a week while DS naps. On Sunday morning DH sleeps in, so when DS takes his morning nap I get back into bed with DH. Luckily DS is a pretty good sleeper. I realize if and when we have a 2nd my nap days are probably over. I usually nap for 45 to an hour which still gives me 30 to 45 mins to get stuff done first.
Only two times: the year that Emily was in school & I was pregnant with Nolan and then the first year he was born and was sleeping around the clock.
This year, with Nolan being 2, he's quite the handful and requires a lot of supervision and help and activities, I find myself using nap time to do basic stuff like showering, paying bills, cleaning up. I hope to start napping for like an hour every day when Nolan starts Preschool.
Heck yeah! Once or twice a week. I don't unless I'm really tired, but I frequently don't sleep well at night and my health isn't the greatest. So, sometimes I really feel like I need a nap. I love them!
Every.single.day. I sleep when my son takes his first nap. Usually it's between 1 and 2 hours. I am one of those people who needs like 12 hours to function. I don't know how I'm going to survive with 2 kids...I have my first so well trained.
I don't nap regularly but when I do it is typically 30-60 minutes. Today I took a 30 minute nap with DD. She didn't sleep well last night and was up earlier than normal today which means I also slept less. I cuddled up with her during her afternoon nap and fell asleep almost as quickly as she did.

Not normally, but I'm pregnant and get hardly any sleep at night. Dd still wakes up during the night most nights, so my sleep is always broken. Yesterday though lo.and I took a nap together and didn't wake up until close to 5 pm. I woke up not knowing where I was or what day it was lol. I guess my body was that tired. I had planned on just laying there lol.
Re: Do you nap?
If my children napped, then I would. But nobody sleeps around here.
I HATE napping. It's a waste of my day.
