hey ladies! I hope you all are doing well this week! We had our second anatomy scan yesterday, and baby girl finally showed her spine and belly button! Everything looks perfect! Our marginal previa has also been cleared and we are off pelvic rest! woo hoo! it was a long 6 weeks! We may have over done our celebrating cause I'm a little sore today, lol

QOTW:  What's been the hardest part about being pregnant for you? the physical changes have taken a tole on me the most, a lot of pain and adjusting to the changes.
What's been the most joyful? seeing DH get so involved and hearing him say he loves the baby. hearing him say how beautiful I am because I'm carrying our daughter. Pretty amazing stuff to hear. :D

I'm hanging in there.  I'm having quite a bit of discomfort, and I'm nervous about how my cervix is holding up (I'm 20w5d).  I have an appointment with my OB this week, and then traveling to see my MFM next week.  The babies are really rocking around in there, though -- my stomach gets distorted into the craziest shapes!

QOTW:  What's been the hardest part about being pregnant for you?
I'd say the anxiety over a twin pregnancy has been the hardest, especially with the risks for identical twins.  I also have to say that I completely underestimated how demanding a twin pregnancy would be.  At 20 weeks, I basically have to go from work to bed or couch, with very limited amounts of walking or standing.  Although I anticipated this would happen eventually, I didn't expect to be so limited this early.

    What's been the most joyful?
Most recently, it's been feeling and seeing all the movement from both of them.  I also love that it's something my husband can experience too.

And although our first ultrasound was quite a shock, I'll never forget that moment of learning we were expecting identical twins after doing a SET.

Not much new here just chugging along at 16w3d. I see the OB next week and we have our a/s scheduled for 8/16.

QOTW:  What's been the hardest part about being pregnant for you?  What's been the most joyful? The hardest part so far for me has been being patient. Most joyful is hearing DH talk about baby.

Hi everyone, I'm 15 weeks today and feeling better but still am getting some headaches particularly in the afternoon. I can't wait until our anatomy scan at the end of the month- the longest wait between u/s sounds so far! QOTW: I would say the hardest parts of the pregnancy are not feeling well, waiting for appointments to check in the LO, and anxiety about the pregnancy. Not at all to be overshadowed by the best parts: the first tri u/s, hearing the heartbeat, telling all our friends and family, and DH's love and concern over the LO already- not to mention him kissing my little bump! :)

    Hi everyone!

My siggy is still messed up!! I am 21 weeks today. Feeling ok, just still fighting the nausea and vomiting. I am def not as sick as the first tri but it is still there unfortunately. I am thinking that I may just need to deal with it for the long haul.

Q: I agree with the others that the hardest part of the pregnancy has been the anxiety and just hoping all the time that the baby will be ok. Lots of joyous moments..most recently, finding out we're having a boy and seeing the pure joy in DH's face. Also, feeling the baby and seeing my tummy grow. I love that I can finally experience being pregnant and count my blessings every day for that.

Hello! 24 weeks now and feeling good so far!  I have an OB appointment next week and will be doing my glucose test at 29 weeks. I also feel like some days the pregnancy is flying by and other days it feels like its dragging on.

Hardest: anxiety over everything.  I went on bedrest with DS at 28 weeks s I get more and more nervous as I get further along.

Best: Hearing my 3.5 so excited to have a sister.  He talks about her all the day and even pretends play with his baby.  I can't wait to see how he is when she actually arrives in November.

    Hello,
Things are going ok. I have gained some weight which I am trying to keep at bay. I am already overweight so I am trying not to get more heavy than I need to be. I am having a hard time sleeping and will try a pillow, maybe that will help.
So far, the scariest was thinking I might have to terminate this pregnancy due to medical complications. Also bleeding a lot in the hospital and at home. Overall this pregnancy has been very hard and very scary. I am not out of the woods yet, but trying to keep positive.
Most joyful was learning we are ok so far and Harmony was negative and that we are having another girl!

    Best of luck to you!

25 weeks!  Things are going really well.  I'm just now getting to the point where my belly is getting in the way of things- bending, sleeping, etc.  And DH took the last of the tums without telling me the other day, but everything else is good.  We got a lot of nursery projects knocked out this past weekend and are hoping to order the chair this weekend.

QOTW: Early on  I struggled getting comfortable with my new body and limits.  But lately there really hasn't been anything too hard.  Although the lack of good sex has been a bummer.
Just the fact that I get to carry this baby, and feel him moving inside, is amazing.  I can't pick out any one thing.

Hey there everyone. I'm due Jan 26, 14. Haven't found out the sex yet, although we did PGD and we were able to opt of having a girl, so we know just waiting for the doc to ttell us so we can announce. So far things have been well except last week. We had a scare. Long story short I had some bleeding which has been there . It was between the placenta and ut. So it came out and I freaked!!!!!! OB says I'm fine. We had our firstNT scan and all was well. Baby was relaxing she flipped around a few times. I love to see her in there. I'm so thankful to finally be experiencing pregnancy. Our next visit is 8/21 a week before my bday so if the doc confirms its a ggirl, ill announce at my bday dinner. Other than that were chugging along praying all keeps going smoothly.

QOTW:  What's been the hardest part about being pregnant for you?  What's been the most joyful?

The hardest part is definitely the anxiety and worry. I truly check the tp after every bathroom visit. I just pray daily and try to stay positive. But IF brain is so overpowering.

The most joyful is hearing her heartbeat and seeing the growth. I am so amazed that this 2oz baby has legs arms feet spine ears. It just is the most beautiful thing ever. I can't wait to have her in my arms.

    Thanks ladies!

Feeling great this week, I tried to go back to work for a shift and failed miserably, had BH contractions all night and let myself get dehydrated and malnourished! So I'm back out again per my doc. Other than that, off BR but on modified activity so just have instructions to sit/lay as much as possible and take it easy.

Passed my GTT which is super exciting!

QOTW: Hardest part of being pregnant is the poor sleep. Best part is all of the excitement it creates around me. Family, friends, and strangers are just SO excited for us, and it is so sweet to bring smiles to everyone's faces. I'm loving being pregnant!

Good morning Ladies!  Well, I'm a little late on my check-in, so it's both my last 2nd tri check-in and my graduation to 3rd tri post!  I've had a good week. Did my 2 hour glucose tolerance test over the weekend and passed, which I am happy about - I didn't really expect to fail, but baby boy is a little big, so you never know!  Physically I am a little worn out and not sleeping as well as I would like, but otherwise feeling pretty good.  I have been working on finding a photographer for maternity picts / newborn photo session and I think I found the perfect one!

QOTW: Hardest part has been anxiety of hoping everything is going ok and we are going to end up with a healthy baby in October.  Second would be the physical limitations.

14 weeks and no real big updates. Starting to feel less queasy, but brushing my teeth is still an adventure and now I'm starting to get massive migraines...even had to stay home from work yesterday!   Had a regular check-up on Tues and heard the hb again and am measuring right on track. Next appt. at 18 weeks.

QOTW:  What's been the hardest part about being pregnant for you? Aside from the typical aches, pains, and general yuckiness, I think the hardest part has been trying to relax and enjoying things. Even after another great check-up on Tuesday I had a nightmare last night that I actually heard the baby's heart STOP beating while at a check-up and the nurse told me I was going to miscarry. It was awful!

     What's been the most joyful?
Just knowing that after almost 4 years we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. DH and DD are both so excited and kiss my growing tummy regularly...too cute!

Hi Ladies!  I am 22 weeks and have been feeling really good.  Baby girl has picked up her movement, so that has been fun.

QOTW: The hardest thing about this pregnancy has been the worry - at first it was daily worry about whether the pregnancy would work out, then the anxiety over the ultrasounds, lately with her moving around I feel a bit better that things are going ok.

The best part is that now I can join in with my cousins and SIL who all have small kids.  Previously I felt like an outcast and didn't enjoy family events, but now I get to use their collective motherhood knowledge!
