I know how my vagina felt after my 7lb6ozer, and it was not good.

Can we all agree that we'd opt for elective c-section if our baby was nearly 14 fucking pounds?

Absolutely. I'd say 10 would be my cutoff.
  • This just cooled my baby fever!
    Baby #1 Sept 2012. Baby #2 due Feb 2015.
  • Uhh. I had a 2nd degree tear from a 6lb 8oz baby. Hells to the fucking no.

    This. Oy.
I literally just "clenched" thinking about that.

  • I remember feeling my vag rip open when my kid's shoulders popped out. It's a feeling I never want to relive again. (I can dream that the next one won't rip me, right?)

DD1 was over 9 pounds, I can't even imagine what 13 would be like. No thank you.

  • I think I would have been okay if my doctor hadn't reached in and grabbed the baby and pulled her out.

It was Friday night after all. He wanted to go home.

  • I'm with cherrycrepe, I say bring it on.

But I had second degree tears with my 9lb. 8oz. baby, and it wasn't easy. I would enjoy the challenge.

  • Fuck that. I had a 4th degree tear with my 8lb 1oz baby. 14 pounds can quite literally kiss my ass. I can still feel the searing pain.

  • Is it bad I say bring it on? I hardly tore at all with 9 lb 12 oz Jack, and the hardest part of my recovery was the gallbladder issues post delivery. I though birthing him was easy.

    Don't hate me.

They wouldn't classify my tear as 1st degree with G and she was 8lb 8oz.

I am not sure I want to try with a baby that big. 10lbs np. 11. Pushing it.

No way Jose!  2nd degree tear with a little bitty 6 lbs. 6 oz.  14 would kill me.
