So I know that tv before 2 is "bad" - (I turned out just fine FYI - and I do have my tv on ALL day) but I was wondering if the baby Einstein videos have the same effect as regular tv watching? They are obviously designed with babies/kids in mind so I didn't know if people had issues with LO watching these (in a few months - not at ripe old age of 6w) My LO currently loves the music CDs that came with the videos but I didn't know when would be an appropriate time to introduce the videos?

The studies they did on these videos showed no benefit or difference from regular tv.

No, they're not any better. When they're that young, it's always better developmentally to just interact with them, sing, listen to music, talk, etc.
