So I know, I know, its "COMMON" for pregnant women to get these suckers, but I thought they were more of a mild discomfort, something that you just get a cream, carry on and they go away....Ummm I can BARELY WALK! And its just one little asshole on my asshole and it hurts so bad I literally want to CRY. I am terrified for when i have to go #2.....I think I will be screaming...for real. And i'm not a wimp. I am covered in tattoos. I can handle pain. But this is just.....WOW!
Anyone deal with excruciating roids?? What do you do for the pain? And do they go away or is this something i'm gonna be dealing with for awhile?

Haha! I'm sorry I know its not funny but I couldn't help it. I would let your obgyn know but try to hang in there. Get witch hazel pads, drink lots of water and eat prunes.

the crazy thing is, it wasnt even from being constipated! It was from diarrhea.....

yeah my family's loving me and all my gross complaints right now lol

I never had them before DS but i got them when i was pregnant for him. Mine went away after DS but I got them everyone now and then between DS and this LO. They suck.

Definitely get witch hazel pads or I've been soaking a cotton ball in witch hazel and then sleeping with it up there. It has helped shrink it.

I currently have one almost the size of my thumb. It was extremely painful for me for the first 3-4 days. Hurt to sit, walk, poop, everything. And, believe me, I DID cry. I used prepH cream, prepH suppositories, prepH wipes (witch hazel wipes, as others have mentioned), stool softener, and I also bought some dermaplast spray, and soaked in warm baths multiple times a day. Honestly, of all these remedies, the only thing that gave me any temporary relief was soaking in the bath. I went to the doc and they Rx'd me some lidocaine cream to help numb it. Thankfully, after day four or so, it stopped bothering me so much. It hasn't shrunken at all, but it only hurts when I poop, so that's a major improvement. The nightly stool softener (colace) is an absolute must. Hope it gets better for you. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

that is what I was telling my daughter- its so awful I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.....i'm walking around all retarded from it and i just hope and pray nobody says "whats wrong" ....."oh nothing, my asshole is just falling out" 

I do NOT want to have it poked at by a doctor but what scares me is i've heard of some ppl having to have them "tied off" when they dont go away.....ew! I hope and pray this crap goes away cuz its just a nightmare to deal with.

I'd suggest ice too. That helped me, although it was temp relief, but it numbed it. Mine have since shrunk and are no longer painful. It sucks but the pain will subside.
