11 Months on Thursday - still no teeth

Seeing as how DS had teeth by 7 months, this is odd to me though I know all babies are different.  Really wish this girl had some teeth because I'm pretty sure she was up due to pain last night - finally caved and gave tylenol to the poor girl.   Anyone else still toothless thus far?  I swear she's been teething since 4 months too so I'm ready for something to pop out please!

Re: 11 Months on Thursday - still no teeth

  • We've got 7, but a girl in Charlotte's class didn't get her first tooth until a week before her birthday!

  • Sawyer turned 10 months old last week and she doesn't have any teeth either. DD1 and DS both got teeth at 7 months. This girl wants to be different.

  • No teeth here, either. :-??
Hopefully that smiley's doing something like a bewildered shrug. I can't really tell...

DD doesn't have teeth either!  She will be 11 months on Saturday.  I stopped even checking because she is not showing any signs of discomfort.  I am still EBF so I am not exactly complaining.  They will come and the less chances of me getting bit the better.  DS got them at 6 months so I am a bit surprised.

  • DS just started cutting teeth two days ago. We thought it was a first tooth, but it's actually three bottom teeth all at once. He is pretty miserable, but I'm hoping it will pass soon!
Yup - pretty much us - though right now it appears to only be one tooth - but 5 wake ups last night... sigh

  • LO just got her first tooth at 9 months old.  Her second tooth just popped through this weekend.

  • My SD didn't cut her first tooth until somewhere around 16 months.  Around 18 months is when the Pedi's start referring you to a specialist.

  • S is nearing the 10.5 month mark... not even a hint of a tooth.
I am terrified that they are all going to show up at once.

  • C turned 11 months today and no teeth. I can see two white spots on the bottom, but nothing yet.

  • No teeth yet, it looked like one was gonna pop last week, but it disappeared.

  • DD didn't get her first one until she was 14m. DS just popped his first one last week.

I read on the interwebz somewhere that late teethers tend to have less oral/teeth issues in life, but who knows whether that is accurate.

I got my first tooth when I was 12m, so it appears late teething runs in the family.

  • In your same boat. LO has been teething since about month 4, but we are just now seeing little white squares. She's got one that I've been thinking 'any day now' for about two weeks and four others waiting in the wings. None in the traditional places of first teeth (top, bottom, front). I asked the pedi about it at her 9 month and he said not to give it a second thought until she was 18 mos and even then he'd just refer to a specialist. Sounds like it really varies per LO. Good luck!
