Your & SO's looks

How alike/different are you and your SO? And what do you think it means for baby? If I said DH was my brother, I don't think anyone would doubt me. We even have almost the exact same hair color and texture, so I don't see there being a huge variance in what LO will look like. I think it is gonna be pretty hard at first to figure out who she takes after.

Same for me. We get told that we look more like brother and sister than husband and wife. Which is kinda creepy to hear lol. But we do have different features; eyes, nose, lips etc. It's just impossible for me to think about what LO will look like. The possibilities are endless lol!

H has dark blonde hair blue eyes. I have light brown hair, green eyes. Although, H has fantastic eyebrows and long eye lashes, both our kids got that from him.

Both our kids have my eye and hair color. I do wonder if this one may look more like H!

Umm I definitely show my Scotch-Irish roots (auburn hair, green eyes, crazy fair skin and freckles all over). DH, on the other hand is completely his Italian heritage (dark hair, brown eyes, can tan 3 shades in 10 mins). I'm extremely curious to see how this baby looks.

DH has darker brown hair, hazel eyes and a little bit of a natural tan.  I have blonde hair, green eyes, and fair skin.

Our son was born with dark brown hair but it changed to blonde within about a month or two. He now has bright blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. He actually looks like a mini version of my own brother. However, his facial features and facial expressions mimic my husband's almost exactly.

As they grow, you can tell what comes from where and the rest is just a nice mix of the two

H had fluffy almost white blonde hair as a little kid, but it darkened to almost black as he got older. He's got blue eyes and some RIDICULOUS eye lashes. I've got mousy brown hair and light green/blue eyes, so I'm guessing LO will have dark hair and light eyes. We're pretty close in height/body type, so that one's kind of a no brainer, but both have pretty prominent noses, so it will be interesting to see what he ends up with.

DH and I have totally different features. He has skin that tans nicely (he's 50% Italian), very dark brown hair and golden/brown eyes. I'm extremely fair skinned w/ freckles, red hair and blue eyes. I think our baby will be totally gorgeous no matter which features she gets from us. I hope she gets a couple things from each of us, I think she'd be stunning with a mix of what we have.

DH and I look nothing alike but I think LO will look like DH.

DH has dark red hair, a warmer skin tone, lots of freckles, and brown/green eyes. I have dark brown hair, very pale skin, lots of freckles, and green/blue hazel eyes.

DS has blonde hair and blue eyes, very pale, no freckles.

DD1 has very light brown hair, DH's skin tone, no freckles, and dark brown eyes.

I have my fingers crossed that DD2 will have red hair, but at this point I am expecting anything. Lol

We both have brown hair.  I have eyes that change color (mostly green, hazel, blue).  DH's eyes are brown.  When we were born, we both had super light blonde hair, almost white and green/hazel eyes.  That being said, I think our LO will also have super light blonde hair and green/hazel eyes when born, so it may be difficult to tell.  DH and I are both built very differently though so we may have to wait awhile to see who he takes after in that department.

DH and I look similar, but not brother/sister similar. I honestly never gave a single thought to what DS would look like before he was born. He came out with a full head of dark brown hair (common, but I wasn't expecting it). That hair fell out when he was about 4 months old and now he has light blonde hair and blue eyes. DH and I both swear he looks nothing like us, although he looks A LOT like DH did at that age. Only occasionally do people say he looks like me and that's usually due to a particular expression he's making.

I can't wait to see what the hair situation is with LO#2. I hope she has a lot of fast-growing hair like her brother.

DH and I are both Swedish & Finnish, so I'm guessing LO will have blonde hair and HOPEFULLY DH's gorgeous blue eyes instead of my hazel ones.

DH and I both have dark brown hair, but mine was blonde when I was young. I have dark brown eyes and his are hazel/green. Both of his parents have blue eyes and my brother also has blue eyes. DD has blonde hair and her eyes are a darker version of DH's. I'm very thin and DH is not, DD seems to take after me and has always been very petite. I'm sooo curious to see what DS looks like!

you never know with this one.  My mom is 5' 4" and my dad is about 5' 9" and my brother is 6' 2" lol.  I am 5' 2" and DH is about 5' 11" and they are projecting DS will be about 6' 2" like my brother.

DH and I both have brown eyes and dark brown hair. I'm definitely more fair skinned than him which is totally unfair since we are both half Italian. I'm 5'9" and DH is 6'3" so unless the lo takes after my mom or dh's mom he will probably be on the tall side. Features wise our noses are probably the most different. We have some 3D ultrasound photos of lo, and from those I'd say his nose is more like dh's.

I am Caucasian, pretty pale, though I tan well if I am outside. I have dark blonde to light brown hair and dark blueish-green eyes.

Dh is Chinese and has black hair and dark dark brown eyes that are nearly black.

Super curious to see what my little guy looks like. 1 week till my edd!

I have blonde hair, big dimples, and eyes that change from hazel to green. FI has brown hair, a majorly receeding hair line B-), and blue eyes. No one would think we were related. I am hoping that LO gets my hair color and dimples, and his eyes! We are both on the shorter side so I imagine she will be smaller!

I am very curious to see what the dominant genes will be.
Dh has dark hair, hazel eyes with amazing lashes, a very defined jaw line and darker skin complexion. I have auburn hair, blue/green eyes, and pale skin complexion with freckles.

Not sure if you can tell from my tiny profile pic, I am white, DH is black, so I can't wait to see LO's complexion. We both have pretty dark brown eyes and hair. DH has the cutest dimple so I hope LO gets that from him!

DH and I look nothing a like. We just keep wondering what kind of hair she will have because I have fine very straight hair, and he has very thick poodle curly hair.

A few people have said DH and I looked alike. We have the same color/texture hair and are both skinny (well, I used to be skinny before I started have health issues a few years ago) and above average height. I expect all of that to carry over to our offspring.

I have blue eyes and DH has brown (he says they are hazel, but to look brown to me), and I had really light strawberry blonde hair when I was little, and it turned darker as I got older. DD got my eyes and hair, and basically looks identical to toddler pics of me. DH is hoping that this LO will look at least a little bit like him, but I'm expecting another blonde haired blue eyed baby.

We look pretty different- though we're both short.

He's super Irish, but somehow looks very tan and has dark brown eyes and dark brown/black hair. He's often asked if he's hispanic.

I have blue eyes, fair skin that freckles in the summer (though I do tan if I'm outside), and naturally lighter brown hair.

I'm REALLY hoping the baby gets my brother's height (6'2), my blue eyes, and H's dark hair.

I'm hoping for this as well. FI and I both have olive skin (with a few freckles) and tan really well. Though I have dark brown hair and brown eyes, he has curly bright red hair and hazel eyes. Both of his parents had red hair and my mom had auburn hair (more brown than red i guess) so we're reallly hoping that LO will have red hair too! Though leave it to my dad's jet black hair to come through in my baby! lol

I'm a mix of Swedish and Scottish, and my husband is Irish (he even has the green eyes and red hair). This child will be so pale, he'll be flammable in the sun.

Me and DH both have dark brown hair, but his hair is wavy while mine is stick straight. He has brown eyes, I have hazel. Everything else is I think is distinctly different. I'm super pale and he tans easily. 

DS is such a perfect mix of us. Sometimes he looks just like DH, but then other times he makes faces that look just like me. He was born with stick straight blonde hair and has DH's eye color.

I'm really curious to see what this LO will look like. He could literally have any hair or eye color because between both of our families we have every combination. (considering DS was born with blonde hair while me and DH have super dark brown hair)

Both DH an I have dark brown hair, although when I was little my hair was more of an auburn, so LO will probably have some shade of brown. I have dark brown eyes, even when I was born they were dark brown, no grey at all. I'm hoping that LO gets DHs green eyes though. DH is fair and I am more olive so I have not a clue whose skin color LO will get. Only 5 days till EDD so now it's just a waiting game until we find out!!

My husband has brown hair, brown eyes and is naturally tan while I`m very fair with blonde hair and blue eyes. DS is my double but he has my husband`s widow`s peak and expressions. I hope our daughter is more of a mix of our looks. I would love if she has dark hair and blue eyes.

We don't look alike but judging from our 4d ultrasound and our baby pics, our little girl will look like her mama I think. She is already taking after my side in baby size. Dh and his siblings, as well as dh's two older kids, were all 7 lb babies. My mom and her siblings, as well as me and my siblings, we were all 9 plus. This little girl is going for the record. Thankfully we all thinned out by 6 months but kept up with being really tall. My older brother is 6'5''.

Everyone I know is dying to see what LO will look like. I'm white with strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, I'm only 5'1" but thank god I do get tan pretty well, (half Scottish half Italian). WELL DH is black, darker, like chocolate skin tonned and 6' tall. Genetics are a funny thing, so I think this kid could be any combo.

I feel the same! It would be so great to have a little redhead who doesn't get burned just by taking a step into the sun!

My husband is Norwegian Caucasian (gorgeous blond hair with natural golden highlights and stunning blueish green eyes with dimples) and I'm African American (black hair, brown eyes, slight dimples). I'm not sure of the mix our son will get but I'm positive he's going to be a stunner!! Can't wait to meet him, our due date is next Monday!

My family genes have proven to be very strong in the past. All my nieces and nephews took on the red/blonde hair and blue eyes. So I think my LO will do the same!! But it's funny because in the first ultrasound pic we got baby definitely had Daddy's profile!!

My ancestors are welsh and Spanish, I have fair skin and brown eyes and can tan though not too well, DH is Scottish and 1/4 native Hawaiian so he tans very well and love his pretty blue eyes! Can't wait to see whose eyes our son has!

MH and I look very different. Almost polar opposites. He's the typical ginger kid, and I have dark auburn hair, and dark brown eyes. He also has extremely thin, brittle hair, while I have enough hair for a small army. We each have freckles, but obviously, he has way more than I do. I come from a taller family (I'm the shortest by about a head), but he's the second tallest in his (at only 5'11"). MH has a cute little button nose, while I...I do not. Haha! 

I'm not real sure what this means for LO, but I can't wait to find out!

Please note my hair is colored currently, and it usually 3 shades darker.

Yep, DH and I look a lot alike too. DS looks very much like both of us.

DH and I don't look very much alike. I come from an almost entirely German background and look the part. DH comes from an almost entirely Italian background and also looks the part. DD is DHs mini me, but with my coloring.

It's always interesting to see what genes kids get and from whom. DH and I look nothing alike - he has dark, thick, super curly hair & green eyes. I have straight, fine, light brown hair and blue-green eyes. DS1 has my hair color, but its crazy thick & straight. We were kinda shocked when he was born that he has the deepest dimples - neither of us have them. But my dad does.. At birth he looked just like DH. Today he looks like me but with DHs build.

Ds takes after his bio dad in alot of ways. His hair eye shape lips and hes already built like a baby ox but hes got my nose and im not sure if hell keeo the blue eyes or not.

His bio dad has dark brown and i have blue grey. But ds also has huge feet from my family. And i cant tell if his dark hair is his dads or mine. Were both dark haired but hes got lots of fine hair like me but his dads hair line.
