Grant vs. Archer

So we have liked the name Grant Lucas, but I'm not completely sold on it. I keep coming back to the name Archer, probably Archer James.

DS is Beckett if sib sets make a difference...

So...Grant Lucas or Archer James? Thoughts or stereotypes for the names?

For our girl name (we're Team Green) it would be Stella Jane, just to get a feel for our style.

I prefer Grant! Sounds masculine, but kind, to me. Archer is nms, I hear "archery" and imagine a robin hood type. Ha! ETA spelling

This completely for me too. I guess I don't see the ch and the j running together since there is an er at the end of the first name.

I love Grant. It was our choice if DD had been a boy. Archer sounds cutesy to me.

I like both Grant and Archer. I'd go with Grant though. Archer seems a bit too trendy IMO in comparison to Grant.

Wow, this post is totally creeping me out. My DH is Grant, DS is Beckham, and our current top pick for DS2 is... Archer James! And, I'm not shittting you, a possible girl name would have been Stella Jane.

Anyway... I obviously like Archer, but I also love the name Grant, too. I think either sounds great. GL!

I love the name Grant. It was on my short list but couldn't get dh onboard with it. I think it is a very strong name. As for Stella Jane for a girl.... I love it. Dd was almost Stella Jane but we decide on Ella Jane in the end. Great names
