Aka...how a service department lost today.
I totally almost posted a vent here earlier. It's been a long couple days...heck, a long summer. Capped most recently by one of our van tires getting a hole last night, and today at appt midwife ordered pre-e labs (BP is good, but since BP got high last pregnancy at end, she wants baseline readings just in case). DH left work to drop of van (run flat tires) for three new tires, because we need matching ones (all wheel drive) and we'd just had one replaced at dealer earlier this year. Come to find out the dealer had put a non-matching tire on, one for a heavier load vehicle.
When he got back to office, DH called dealer to complain, since no one had told us (DH would never have agreed to it, he's very particular about tires). He called me a short time later to tell me they were giving him the run around and told him to make an appointment to come in and talk about it. He called to see when we should do it. I told him to let me call and see what the deal was.
Long story short, and after what amounted to a war of attrition, the dealer is putting a new tire on that matches the other one. :-) Today was not the dayvtovgive this pregnant mommy the run around. And somehow this little dose of victory makes me feel better about the day. I hope it's a long time before I have to do that again though!

Re: Power to the Pregnant Mommy
Glad it worked out for you though.
