I'm here lurking mostly. Since the update mobile seems to SUCK and posts are all out of order. I'm definitely out of the loop on anythign that has happened the last few days! lol
Aww it makes me feel good I've been missed apparently!
Puppy is not doing good. His numbers started going back down which means the meds are not helping. The only thing we could do is give him continuous blood transfusions which we agree is not a good quality of life for him. We've taken him off the meds completely so he can spend his last weeks or so without having the side effects they cause. We'll be keeping an eye on him and making the decision to put him down when we feel like his energy and happiness has dropped. Ill be soaking up every second I can with him and will be very sad to say goodbye when the time comes. We know it is what is best for him at this point though.
So sad to hear about your pup, but I completely agree with your decision to let him go. You have exhausted every avenue to get him well and his body just isn't cooperating. Enjoy every minute you have with him.

This exactly. So sad though. Always a hard decision to make. Wishing you all the best over the next little bit with your fur baby.
I don't have words. I agree with your decision to let him go. Its hard to watch them suffer and know they are suffering so much. You have tried sooo hard to keep him well, but all that can be done now is to cherish the time you and he have left together. I'm so sorry to hear this! Sending much love and hugs!
Steph, your story makes me tear up.!i am so sad and sorry to hear about your pup. I hope you enjoy your last few weeks with him and snuggle him lots. Making a decision like that is heart breaking. Many Ts and Ps to you
Sorry to hear about your pup. I'm glad that you seem to have made the right decision for both you and your baby boy. I know that his time with you was awesome though, so take heart about that if possible! Thinking of you and your furbaby.
So sorry about your puppy! I was thinking about him the other day. Sounds like you've made a good decision for him though, which I'm sure he appreciates. Now go love on that puppy some more!
