    No real update on me so I'm excited to hear from everyone with ER, ET, & Betas this week!!!!

    QOTD: I posted this question and then laughed when I realized what my desktop photo is... it's an organizational system I use for work to keep my workflow going.  Haha!!  I basically use the photo to move stuff around on my desktop so I know where I'm at with tasks.  I'm trying to post it but I'm not sure it's working...

    Well we had egg retrieval on Tuesday.  They retrieved 14 eggs with 10 fertilized all via ICSI.  We were planning on going in this morning for ET, but just got what I think is great news from the RE's office.  All 10 of our embies are still growing beautifully so they want to wait until Sunday morning in hopes of transferring a blast.  Just hoping they are doing just as well come Sunday.

    Yes Brewers, you can hug yourself!!! ((Hugs)) from me too!! I'm officially joining as a firefly... Had my first FET yesterday (7/25), and my beta is 8/5. Woo!! My desktop pic (well, my iPad anyway) is of my cousin's afghan dog. She's very silly and dopey and seeing that pup makes me think of my family, whom I love endlessly. My PC desktop pic is of Buddhist monks looking out over Sunset Point, Sedona AZ. It was a crazy-peaceful moment, and the first stop along our cross-country rail trip :)
    BFP #1 - chemical pregnancy, natural miscarriage at 7 weeks on 2/11/12 BFP #2 - u/s at 8 weeks showed a tiny fetal pole measuring at 6 weeks, heart rate slow at 94bpm. Natural miscarriage a few days later on 4/15/12 August 2012- Diagnosed with pancreatic divisum, September - ERCP w/stent placement. Fingers crossed this was the issue! Doc gave the go-ahead to start trying again. BFP #3 - Chemical pregnancy ending a few days after Thanksgiving 2012. Clearly my pancreas was not the issue. Doc told us to try one more time. BFP #4 - Chemical pregnancy ending in January 2013. Now I'm pissed. February- meeting with RE. Test results show I have a low egg reserve and DH has severely messed up sperm. Docs are quite confused as to how we're getting pregnant to begin with. Let the IVF games begin!! April - stim time!! 7R, 6F via ICSI, 5 made it to day 5, 3 look "good enough" to be sent for PGS testing. We are now the proud owners? Parents? Of 2 healthy frozen embryos. June - ugh. Lupron. So much Lupron. And Aygestin, and Estrogen, and Progesterone suppositories. Things are going in to my body every way possible! July 25- scheduled for our first FET. Aaand huge fail. All of the estrogen gave my pancreas a good old fashioned hissy fit. Long story short, moving on to gestational carrier.

    well I was feeling awesome Wednesday beta came back at 25.5 so it more than doubled from Monday's 7.5 beta. I started spotting red yesterday and it's gotten heavier since then. I took a test this morning and it was a barely there line so I'm positive this was a chemical pregnancy. I did go in for my 3rd beta this morning, but I already know how it's going to come back. I'm just kind of numb to the whole thing at this point. I don't know when we will do another IVF, I called our insurance to see how much money we have left to use, that will really decide when to try again. the only positive I can find out of this is that we did get pregnant and with our own "stuff" because our doctor has said that we needed donor sperm and then said we needed donor eggs both of which DH isn't comfortable with. So I'm done rambling.

    Trying for a baby since 4/10

    DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear.
    DH: low sperm motility,low count.
    Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,

    6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
    IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.

    IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14

    Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20 = BFN

    IVF# 3 7/13 BFP ended in chemical pregnancy

    9/15 diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance gearing up for IVF# 4 Dec/ Jan

    I just feel like crying today 4dp5dt and no sore boobs no implantation bleeding, just some cramping!!! I am so nervous. It POAS using a digi this morning cause I'm crazy and it was the only stick in the house of course bfn even though it is probably very unlikely to have picked anything up this early right???? Ahhhhhh!!! IF you suck! Rant over. Hope all you girls are hanging in there better than me
    TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with (severely) low sperm count- less than 40 total (last 2 SA showed only 5 and 6 sperm each)
    IVF #1: ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized; ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN
    FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!!
    IVF #2: ER 7/17/13: 6R/3F- transferred 1 blast and 1 10 cell embryo 5dt.   Beta hell.  #1 2.5, #2 2.2- BFFFN! REALLY?
    IVF #3: ER 12/1 and only 2 retrieved.  1 fertilized with ICSI.  Was planning on transferring one fresh and one frozen....fresh was only 14 cells at day 5...CANCELLED and devastated due to 5cm blood filled cyst in ovary and blood in uterus.
    IVF #4: Antagonist protocol with endometrial scratch day one of stims.  ER 4/21: 6R/4M/3F- transferred 2 beautiful blasts (5dt) and one was hatching!  No frosties but hoping we won't need it!  Beta 5/4/14- 444(8dp5dt), Beta #2 10dp5dt 1002!  THIS HAS GOT TO BE IT!!!!!!!!!!  First US 5/15 we saw two of the most beautiful gestational and yolk sacs I have ever seen!  
    ****FINALLY PREGNANT WITH DI/DI TWINS!!!!!!!  

    BRINLEY AND RILEY LONG.  Born November 20, 2014 at 32 wks 3 days.  4lbs7oz and 4lbs5oz.  1 month NICU time for "B's" and growing and feeding.  Now healthy, thriving, beautiful little girls!

    My ET was on 7/23, so I'm in the 2WW trenches with the other troops.  I'm still feeling very hopeful, basically trying to will this thing to work.

    My desktop picture is of DH and I on a boat in Hawaii.  I tried to post it but the stupid new bump won't let me.

    Good morning ladies! Well today is the day for Beta! I am very nervous.........had blood drawn just waiting for the call!!! Good luck to all those testing today!

     

    My desktop picture is of me and two girls I work with from a circus we had a work one day to try to motivate nurses at our hospital to get national certified in thier area of speciality! It was so much fun and of course I put myself in charge of cotton candy so I could eat it haha! But my personal computer has me the DH and our puppy at christmas with santa :) I will attach both if anyone wants to see them!

    *10/2010Tried 1 cycle of clomid 50mg with no results

    *12/2010 On break due to needing a new OB and money reasons

    5/5/12 Underwent exploratory surgery and had tubes blown out- no issues found

    5/5/12 DH had SA and numbers look great

    7/2102 50mg dose of clomid with ovulation and timed sex no results

    8/12 Clomid cylce #3- no success

    8/30 Went to see RE and we have decided to move onto IUI attempts

    10/18 IUI#1 BFN and cyst developed so on hold

    11/17 IUI cycle #2 BFN
    IUI #3,4,5,6 =BFN

    First round of IVF- 2 fresh transfered Beta=20, 37 than ended in M/C- Will do frozen transfer in Sept!

    curlylocks3 - I'm excited & nervous for you too!!!  Please update when you feel up to it.

    A+B2007 - That's amazing you still have so many embies hanging on!!  FX for Sunday!  The great thing about waiting until then is they truly can pick the very best of your embies to transfer!

    Josiecat - Welcome to the group!!  Keep us updated on you!!

    jenn0620 - Girl, this sounds almost exactly like my first IVF!!!!  The emotional roller coaster of those Betas was honestly worse than my BFN this time around.  I know exactly what you're dealing with so please don't hesitate if there's anything I can do for you.  I'll be praying for strength for you.

    rlk2 - You'll drive yourself crazy POAS so early!!!  Girl, I'd at least wait a couple more days before doing it again!!  (That's exactly why I didn't POAS until beta day!)  It is definitely a little too early so don't give up yet!!

    8/2 but there is no way I'll wait.  I want to be able to test at home with DH and have our own special moment (hopefully) that doesn't include a doctor or a nurse.  I'm just hoping I can hold our til 7dp5dt at least to start testing.

    Hi fireflies,
    I posted on Wed that I got my first ever BFP!! Beta was 150 went back for 2nd beta today and it was 313.

    Well we had egg retrieval on Tuesday.  They retrieved 14 eggs with 10 fertilized all via ICSI.  We were planning on going in this morning for ET, but just got what I think is great news from the RE's office.  All 10 of our embies are still growing beautifully so they want to wait until Sunday morning in hopes of transferring a blast.  Just hoping they are doing just as well come Sunday.

    My husband wanted to have an ice luge sooo bad but it wasn't in the budget!!! That's awesome!

    TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with (severely) low sperm count- less than 40 total (last 2 SA showed only 5 and 6 sperm each)
    IVF #1: ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized; ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN
    FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!!
    IVF #2: ER 7/17/13: 6R/3F- transferred 1 blast and 1 10 cell embryo 5dt.   Beta hell.  #1 2.5, #2 2.2- BFFFN! REALLY?
    IVF #3: ER 12/1 and only 2 retrieved.  1 fertilized with ICSI.  Was planning on transferring one fresh and one frozen....fresh was only 14 cells at day 5...CANCELLED and devastated due to 5cm blood filled cyst in ovary and blood in uterus.

    QOTD: My DH has his private pilot's license, and I love taking pictures of sunsets. A few months ago, we flew to a neighboring town in the Hill country of Texas, and I shot this over the Llano river.

    Yes, I love that.... we waited to POAS at home together that morning before beta... good or bad news we wanted to find out together!!  Sounds like you two feel the same!  I definitely recommend holding out as long as you can so you avoid the mental torture if you don't see a line yet, is it too early, did it work..... regardless you better keep us updated!!!!!

    DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear.
    DH: low sperm motility,low count.
    Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,

    6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
    IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.

    IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14

    Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20 = BFN

    IVF# 3 7/13 BFP ended in chemical pregnancy

    9/15 diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance gearing up for IVF# 4 Dec/ Jan

    Today I am 2dp5dt. We transferred one blastocyst and froze two, and my beta is 8/6. Yesterday I freaked out because without realizing it, I had my laptop on my lap on and off all day. It was pretty hot too. #-o I couldn't believe I was so careless! I have a lot of belly fat though, so I just hope that insulated the little embie enough. Ugh. It's going to be a long 2 weeks.

    I did end up POAS and there was a very very faint line.........I feel i didnt let myself get to excited until nurse calls for sure! I dont blame you if you POAS I couldnt hold out any longer!

    Don't you hate how we say we won't overanalyze each twinge but we TOTALLY do!!?  We just can't help it!  I blame the meds/hormones on our temporary insanity!!!

    I didn't think about sharing the pic on my phone instead of my boring one on my computer!!!... mine is my profile pic on here too... I was doing a headshot session for another photographer and she snapped this one of me... it's my favorite one of me "working"!!!

    Hello!

    I had my ET on 7/23 and will be going in for my Beta on 8/1.  I'm so nervous.  tWe did get 5 healthy embies to freeze!  We have no insurance left to help with anymore procedures so I've been praying extra hard that this is a success!  I went in for Estrogen/Progesterone check yesterday and  the nurse said my levels are great.

    I tested bfn on 5dp5dt and 6dp5dt didn't see my positive until 7dp5dt and then it was on a Walmart cheapie and I could barely see it! But when I rechecked the frer and digital showed positive that day too. You are not out yet!!!!! I only had a little cramping off and on. Nothing that led me to believe action was taking place. Good luck! Keep thinking sticky!

    UPDATE:  FET on 7/24 transferred 1 embryo.  4 frosties back to refreeze!

    My beta came back yesterday at 39.6 so I am positive :) I was concerned with it being so much lower than I see some of you all post but then I decided to try not to stress and enjoy being pregnant! My husband is still in such shock. I think he really expected this IVF NOT to work and says he is too in shock to get excited yet lol. I know he just needs time to process it! I don't go back until Thursday at 5 weeks and check labs again. Praying everything keeps moving in right direction.

    QoTD- my picture is us in the water swimming on the beach in front of our cruise ship. The ship is so close is looks photoshopped! That was our "pre-baby" trip :)

    3rd beta was 6.5 :( so sad and kind of numb right now. I think we will take some time off to take care of our health. DH was really disappointed when we found out it wasn't going to work out. we may go to a new RE, not really sure. WTF appointment next Thursday so we'll see what the RE says.

    Trying for a baby since 4/10

    DX: Infertile 6/11 Me: LPD, all other blood work clear.
    DH: low sperm motility,low count.
    Met with RE start clomid + TI + IUI 5/12= IUI cancelled due to positive Cystic Fibrosis carrier test. DH tested Neg. for Cystic Fibrosis,

    6/12 Clomid + TI +IUI=BFN 8/10 IVF consult.
    IVF #1 Started BCP 9/2 Lupron 10/11 stims 10/27 ER 11/6!! 5 eggs retreived only 1 mature. FERT report shows none made it.Cancelled cycle.

    IVF #2 BCP 11/18 Lupron 12/14

    Stims start 12/29 ER 1/8 ET 1/11 put in 1 grade B and 1 grade C. Beta: 1/20 = BFN

    IVF# 3 7/13 BFP ended in chemical pregnancy

    9/15 diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance gearing up for IVF# 4 Dec/ Jan

    Update. I have been stimming for 5 days now. I had my first u/s today and they saw 7 measurable follies. I am DOR so I was pretty happy with that, especially how my last cycle went (1 mature and 2 almost mature follicles after 4 days of stims and a bunch of little ones that would never catch up). I go back on Sunday for another u/s so I am praying that the 7 keep growing and I don't "lose" any. Now some more would be nice but I am doubting that! I am not even sure if my ER will be in July anymore but it should be right on the cusp.

    QOTD. On my home computer it is a picture of a wave crashing over some big rocks from our honeymoon. At work, its my dog.
