Another boob question...

So I'm a little behind in this department, my boobs JUST started leaking, like today.  I was convinced I was broken (even though I know this is ridiculous).  My question is...how long does this shooting pain last?  I'm trying to use this beautiful day to clean the house and the pain keeps interrupting my productivity!

Any pain or discomfort I get in my boobs comes and goes throughout the day. Can't really say much to help beyond that

Shooting pain? I am going to assume you are talking about the let down sensation but that usually doesn't last long. It is more like tingly than shooting.

It's like a shooting pain through my nipple, but only on one side and pretty short lived.  Dr. Google diagnosed it as what happens when you start to produce colostrum and sure enough there it was but no mention of whether I should be concerned or how long it lasts, if there's even an answer for that.

Any discomfort has always been short lived for me.

Same here with the shooting and the other night I got my first little drop of colostrum. I get it randomly but it usually goes away after a few minutes. MH laughs at me because I will randomly yell ow my nipple and start pushing on my boob.

LOL DH has been loving my "Good LORD my lady parts hurt today" comments.  Now he's terrified my boobs are going to squirt him, although I might have created that fear by telling him they will when he starts messing with them (not in a sexy way, in a "holy cow these things are huge" way).

If he expresses concern about you squirting him I think you need to respond "yeah, now you know how it feels"..... jusssst sayin!

The nurse in our birthing class told us that when your milk comes in it can squirt when you orgasm. MH looked at me with absolute fear on his face and I just burst out laughing.

haha DH thinks it's cool when they're leaky. Honestly, I think he's gotten more out than me, cuz he wants them to be able to actually squirt. (He likens it to a water gun.. smh! lol He's such a kid!). I've never gotten any pain in them yet though associated with the colostrum...
