Kawaii diapering mommas

I'm new to cloth diapers, I did research on a lot of different cloth diapers and decided on Kawaii as the best bang for my buck.  My DD is a heavy wetter so she wears 2 inserts during the day and 3 at night.  During the day it seems like every hour and a half to 2 hours she pees through her diaper.  At night we have no issues.  It's too bulky for her to wear 3 liners during the day.  Am I doing something wrong?  Is it normal to have to change your kid nearly every hour?
