We're nearly ringing in 2009 with our fourth IUI. I had my third follicle check late this morning. My left ovary is lazy this cycle, but I have 2 more than mature on my right along with another that is close to it as well.
I'm CD16 today, so CD18 when we do the IUI. This is actually later than I did my IUIs on Clomid. But he was VERY nervous about overstimulating me this cycle. So he went with the slow and steady plan to make sure we didn't get too many where he would have to cancel the whole cycle...that would not have made me a happy camper at all!
He had me get 5,000iu of the trigger, instead of the 10,000iu we did for the first 3 IUIs. When I asked him why he said it was because my follicles don't need the extra "push" to get mature from the trigger like I have in the past. I'm taking that as a good sign. And he said he's trying to not make me extra bloated for no reason...nice of him huh?
So I'll trigger tonight at 8:15 PM and then have the IUI at 8:15 AM on New Year's Eve. And CONGRATS again to all the recent BFPs this past week or so!

No kidding with the finally! ?Sounds like you have some really good stuff going on in there so I suppose it was worth the wait! ?Follicles that don't need to be pushed must be good! ??
Good luck...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you still so you don't have to use all the IVF information you've accumulated!?
That is great news!! What a great way to ring in the new year - I hope this is it for you!! Wishing you the very best of luck.
