Video Monitor

Hi, I am mostly a lurker and have looked through all the pages and cannot find anything posted recently about video monitors and tje forget the search function.

 Does anyone have one they can suggest/recommed? What do you like about it? What do you hate about it?

LOVE our video monitor. we have the summer brand monitor and it was $179 at bru. it is great since DS is a noisy sleeper and it has saved us a few hundred trips to his room already when i can see that he is fine and sleeping but just making a ton of noise. i was skeptical in the beginning b/c i really didn't think we needed it and it's pricey but let me tell you, it is worth it!

Ditto the Summer Infant Handheld video monitor. LOVE LOVE it!  I love being able to check on her without having to actually go in her room...which sometimes wakes her up.  It was also nice early on when I would hear her every noise and could check on her without getting out of bed!  The screen is really nice during the day and in the dark, sounds is good, we haven't had any problems with static or anything either.  My only complaint is the battery life is pretty short....but we just plug it in then.  Still love it!

I agree with this. I like ours as well, but the battery has started dying before the night is over which is a PITA.

I got one as a shower gift and it's the best thing ever! It's the same one that the PP's have and it definitely comes in handy when she is whining but not really awake.
