First Midwife appt

Today I have my first midwife appt since switching from my OB 4 weeks ago.  I am nervous, but so excited!  I already met the midwife in the consultation about 3 weeks ago.  Today is my physical so she can check everything and anything.  Plus answers any questions I have.

We love the experience with midwives. We switched too but earlier on in the pregnancy and are much more content with our decision. However, if the pregnancy or delivery become high risk, our midwives work with a team of Dr's which is great! Good luck!

I have been loving the midwife experience as well!  I saw an OB/gyn up until I got pregnant, then we made the switch to a midwife, it's been wonderful :-)

I really like my midwife.  I see her again in 2 weeks.  I'm measuring ahead...about 32 weeks.  But she's not too concerned because I am on the heavier size, which can affect belly measurements. Plus our first was 8lbs 13oz.  That could mean another big baby.  His heartbeat was 155 and he even kicked the doppler.  He's a big mover compared to my daughter.
