We're not doing so well $$$ right now so Patrick and I did not exchange gifts for each other and he feels horrible.  I'm not material in the way that he is so it doesn't bother me.

We did not exchange gifts because we bought new car last month. I don't care at all.

We didn't exchange gifts in 2006.  Joe HATED it.  I was, surprisingly, perfectly fine with it.  He felt bad that he didn't give me anything.

We didn't. We just bought a treadmill & a Wii.  Neither of us cared.  It really doesn't mean anything to me unless DD can pick out a gift herself.

We didn't do presents.  It was my idea, I was fine with it but DH hated it.

We have other bills to be concerned about so we chose not to exchange gifts.

We had too many financial obligations this year so we did not exchange gifts.  We both missed being able to surprise the other person with something.

We also discussed not getting each other anything beforehand. The last thing either of us needs is more stuff, and with money being an issue I'd rather we spent it on DS than ourselves.

We didn't exchange gifts and we're both fine with it. We buy what we want throughout the year (if it's reasonably priced).
