2nd Trimester

Everyone's a doctor...

I have a yeast infection, it is getting better.  A girl at wk who is pregnant with her second said that yeast infections are bad and can get to the baby.  I told her that I am using the cream but that I bought the off brand (meanwhile this is not my first rodeo, I get yeast infections ALL the time...pregnant or not) she said o, no...you should have bought Monistat.  I feel like everyone becomes a Dr. once you talk about being pregnant.

  • Tell you're going to shove the cream up her arse if she doesn't shut her mouth.

  • Don't you just find that super duper annoying? I sure do!
  • Oh yes, everyone has a piece of advice because they think they are so much smarter and wiser.  Very annoying.  I"m so sick of all the advice and suggeestions on baby names too, I want to tell them look no one is going to name by baby but me and DH, so you can either accept it or not, we really don't care if you do or don't, and also don't care what you think we should name him.  I had the same feeling when I was going through infertility, everyone wanted to tell me tips on how to get preg., when I was seeing one of the best Fertility Specialist in our State.
  • I think people are more opinionated than Dr status...but yes..you do have those who think that know more than anyone else without having stepped foot in med school. It's hilarious and I just laugh it off.
