sick and Bfing

Under what circumstances should I not BF?  I caught a virus from DH (he went to the doc and all they did was give him a steriod shot and a RX for Sudafed.   I don't have a fever, just a pretty bad sore throat and I'm kinda light headed/ woozy.  I figure DS has already been exposed anyway, no need to stop BFing, right?

    Definitely do not stop BF. DS has already been exposed if you are already sick and continuing to breastfeed will provide him with your antibodies for the illness. I read a lot about it on kellymom.com, they have a lot of good info.

    DH and I both had the stomach flu last week and I continued to BF the entire time. DS did not get sick. My mom came over to help me out one night and she even caught it, but DS was and is still happy and healthy.

    That makes sense.  I'm so tired lately I've lost my ability to reason and I second guess every decision I make!
