I have to work every day but Thursday, and while this week is usually dead, I have a deal closing on Jan. 5 so I'm actually going to have stuff to do. Poop.
I am working every day but Thursday.....poor me. Though, "working" may be a too strong of a word....I'll be at work, but plan to nest a great deal of the time...but I actually do have a couple of important meetings on Tuesday that I will need to prep for tomorrow.

One of the reasons I've stayed with my company is that they give us the week between Christmas and New Year's off, paid. This year they also gave us Christmas Eve (to make up for no raises) and I took jan. 2nd off. So, it's a nice little vacation.
I have to work Mon-Wed, they gave us this Friday off and last Friday since we didn't get raises. But, morning sickness, um, all day sickness is kicking my ass, I think I'm calling in on Wednesday. I've spent the past 3 days in bed and I'm not sure how I'm going to get up tomorrow.
Wow, you people are lucky!! I have to work all week (including Thursday) plus I have to work this weekend and then all next week. Yes, that is 12 straight days, and I will probably have to work that following Saturday...so make that 13 days in a row. I work in accounting, so year end is the busiest time of the year for us. But I will make double time on Thursday since it is a paid holiday and I will make time and a half for the weekend days...so at least that makes up for it!!
I'm working today and tomorrow and then I'm off the rest of the week. I only work part time, though, so I'm still getting paid for my normal number of hours (24 a week) with the holiday. My husband, on the other hand, is working every day but Thursday- boo!
