1st Trimester

Still no symptoms

And it's bugging me out. No nausea, no sore boobs, nada. Anyone else? Maybe it's still too early...

Re: Still no symptoms

  • I'm the same way.  If I really look for some, I guess I've been a little more moody.  I'm a little tired and I'm breaking out, but that's all normal PMS type stuff for me, so it's hard to believe that I'm really pregnant

  • a little bit of mood swings and slightly sore bewbies.  thats it though.  It will probably hit us all at once and we will be bowing to the porcalin (sp?) goddess.
  • Some people just don't have strong symptoms. I haven't had anything bad so far but a lot of fatigue and a few days of bad nausea around the 8w mark.

  • With my first one, I felt fine until week 5-6, thats when the morning sickness started. I'm enjoying it while I can!
  • You are still really early.  Some don't get symptoms until like 8-12 weeks, some even later.  Enjoy it...I still have morning sickness and I'm on meds so I can eat and function.
  • My nausea started at around 6 1/2 weeks and it was absolutely horrible.  I didn't get over the nausea and vomiting until 22 weeks or so.  I never really had sore boobs.  I know symptoms make you feel like you are "really" pregnant, but don't wish them upon yourself.  Enjoy feeling like a normal person for a little longer because soon enough there will be no doubting your pregnant.

  • lol!  Yeah, I think I'll be back in about a week talking about crawling between the bed and the bathroom.

  • Count yourself lucky.... I would not ask for symptoms.  Trust me I have been having morning sickness for 4 weeks and on meds for it.  It is really not all it's cracked up to be.  Would rather have none.  I was fine till 6 weeks.
  • You're not alone. I did not have any symptoms with ds nor with #2. Yay for us!
  • OK, I feel better, thanks ladies. I have first doc appointment tomorrow, so my fingers are crossed that all is well.
  • I had almost no symptoms until about 6 1/2 weeks. I wished for something to let me know I was really pregnant... then the nausea and fatigue set in. I'm just now starting to feel better. So the symptoms may still come... or maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones with a symptomless pregnancy. Either way, enjoy this time!
  • Don't stress, I am sure all is well, you are probably just one of the lucky ones!

This is my second, and you would think that 9 years later being preggo would be different... WRONG!

    I NV U...
  • I am sure everything is fine, but if you are worried maybe it would be better to call the dr. and ask them to check your progesterone and betas. It would give you peace of mind.

  • I don't really have any. Sore boobs sometimes but not that bad. Tired sometimes but not all the time.

Try not to think of it as "no symptoms" - think of it as "feeling great" and "having an easy pregnancy." Yes?

  • I'm 11 weeks and I've had no real symptoms. I think I felt a TAD nauseous once or twice around 9 weeks.. but honestly, had I not taken a test, I would not have known I was pregnant.?

Just yesterday my back started hurting and I am feeling stretching/pulling but that JUST started!

I know it's SO stressful and you constantly worry, but TRY to enjoy it! I've heard of several people who've had a very easy first tri.?

  • every pregnancy is different. just be happy if you're feeling good! the only symptoms i've had so far are extreme fatigue, tender nipples, some indigestion now and again, and break outs. symptoms come and go as well

  • oh be careful what you utter!!!!  I've been sort of cruising along w/ minimal symptoms too, just sore boobs that started from the day 1.  Now I feel like I've been run over by a truck.  nothing really started till this week.

I couldn't care less though.  if it means my bean is healthy and growing, I'll take it all!!

hoping you continue to feel well...

  • give it a week or two....
  • Try not to worry - I haven't felt any different at all during this whole time, besides being tired.  It might come late, or not at all, so enjoy it while you can & try not to worry about it!
  • I don't have bad symptoms either...fatigue and occasional icky feeling.  Car rides sometimes are a bit much.  We have a lot of roundabouts in the town I live in and its not cool.  Almost 6 weeks so we shall see what happens.

For the ladies experiencing nausea: My sister-in-law is on her 3rd pregnancy and is about 12 weeks now.  She SWEARS this product "cured" her nausea.

Its called Earth Mama - Angel Baby Morning Wellness Tea.  I believe you can only get it online; I couldn't find it anywhere else and I tried Whole Foods and whatnot.  Baby safe and worth a try!  I have some on hand...

  • I hardly have any symptoms either!  I figured I'd have tons of nausea because I get carsick at the drop of a hat, but no.  I *wish* I had a little more just to make me feel like I'm pregnant (had a dream last night that I miscarried - scary!), but I guess we're just lucky.  My boobs are sore/growing, just this week started getting exhausted, and I'm a bit hormonal (major cryfest last night, but that could have just been because my inlaws had been staying with us for 10 days straight!!), but that's about it!  Good luck!
