PSA: Babies come out of womb manipulating you.

Ladies, you need to stop being such push-overs and wake up and smell the spit up.

"Babies can't manipulate you."  "CIO before 4 months is a bad idea." "It's okay to 'baby' a baby - that's why they're called 'babies.'" Pfffffffffffffffttttt.

Think about it.  Babies come out of the womb crying.  They're still attached to the umblical cord so you know they've just been fed.  You've been holding them for 9 months straight so it's not like they haven't gotten in any snuggle time.  And they're not even wearing a diaper yet so it's not like they need to be changed.  They obviously just want attention.

So seriously.  Show your babies who's boss.

    But my pedi said it was okay to CIO at 3 weeks?!?!?!

    And why won't my 4 week old get on a sleeping and eating schedule! My life is NOT supposed to change with a baby!

    I didn't sign up for this.

    Of course this isn't a joke!  What you're saying just proves my point anyway.  I mean it's clear that the baby doesn't even care about what you must have gone through what with labor and pushing an 8 lb. kid out of your vagina.  They're just like, "Waaaaaah!  I'm the baby!  Pay attention to me!"  Selfish jerks.

    Noooo,no,noooo! My neighbor's cousin's girlfriend said I'm supposed to feed  her every 6-8 hours and ignore her when she cries for my love or she'll grow up to be an obese, feeble human being who can't self-soothe when she's upset.

    And I trust her because she has a baby and  worked in a day care  for six weeks. Stick out tongue
