Hey Mamma! Welcome to the flip side again!
How is it all going?
My recovery has been AWFUL. I have a UTI and still in a ton of pain, I feel like something is wrong. I am going to the OB tomorrow again. Plus the blues are really bad this time. SO unlike my first easy c-section. I felt great at this point with C. Though part of it is that I am doing too much.
Julia was 8 pounds and 20.25".
What did you name her and how big was she?
Re: MRSK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey JAR! Emma Kate was born at 7:13 am on 12/18. She weighed 7'10 and was 19 1/2 inches long and is absolutely perfect. Sorry to hear you're having a tough recovery this time, especially with having C. My recovery has been bad too. The morning after I was discharged (Monday), I was back in the hospital with bp of 200/113. They put me on magnesium sulfate for 24 hours, and I came home on Wednesday. They are still really high as of today, and I have headaches and am on a ton of meds. My supply never came in so I tried fenugreek, but I just read it can adversely affect bp so I guess that's out. I have a feeling I've lost the bf battle, so I'm sad. I'm still supplementing and pumping, but it's wearing thin. Plus, I'm having trouble with my incision. They caterized it in the hospital, but it's still not good. And like you, I think I may have a UTI. Not fun, but I'm going to the doctor tomorrow, too. I just want to get better!
Sorry if I sound like a Debbie Downer. I'm getting frustrated with the amount of time it's taking to recover. Like you, I didn't have too much trouble the first time around. I'm sure things will look up soon. I hope they do for you, too!
