The latest discovery in the past few days for my 3 month old has been that he can put his fingers in his mouth! He gets a sneaky look on his face and then does it. Built in toy! Dh says its all over once he discovers his penis.
I had to LOL because DD put her fingers in her mouth immediately after birth and has not stopped. See PIP.
Your DH is correct. Little boys like playing with their toys, and well...they never stop. I have a teen son and I can vouch that the toys are important.
DD's latest milestone is saying Dada and Hi. She says them all the time, has no idea what they mean, but loves all the attention she gets.
DD has a bouncer with some dangle toy hanging accross the top. She has just discovered how to kick them to make them move. She'll kick, kick, finally kick the toy and then just transport herself giggling and bouncing. It amused her for over an hour while we had dinner the other night!
DD1: starting to talk in phrases/sentences and wanting to 'take care of' her sister (helps burp her, wants to "wrap her up", helps hand me diapers, etc.)
