DS has been sleeping in his crib since we brought him home from the hospital. He loves his crib. We have bumper pads well the pedi said that it was ok to have bumper pads in the bed till he started moving around in his crib. At 2 months old he was all over his crib and putting his face in the bumper pad. I took it out right away. He is now 5 months old moves alot more and has figured out how to put his arms and legs through the slats in the crib. He wakes up every 45 mins at night stuck and can't get out. He's not really stuck but he can't figure it out without waking up and he gets scared. What would you do to fix this problem?
Re: DS and crib problem NEED HELP!!
definitely breathable (sp?)/mesh bumpers. walmart has them, they're pretty inexpensive it think.
There are mesh-like bumpers that you can get that will prevent your DS from sticking his arms and legs through the slats, but won't be dangerous if he gets his face stuck against it.
I am not sure where you purchase one, but I have heard a lot about them on these boards. Perhaps try Googling one. Good luck!
you can get these lots of places, we had too. Doesn't help with padding, only with the limbs poking through.
