spoon feeding

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
We are trying to start spoon feeding our lo.  She is 4 months old and we are starting with rice cereal.  She has very little interest in eating this way.  Any advice?  Should we wait longer?  Should we keep persisting?  We see our pedi on Monday, so we will be getting his advice too, but wondered what other moms think.  TIA!

    4 months is still pretty young to start solids.  i'd stop and try again in  a few weeks or so.

    We are going to try this weekend, she just had her 4 month check up.  The pedi said go ahead and give it a go.  If she doesn't seem interested, try again in a week or two.
