Oh my gosh I'm pregnant again!

Uhm, well this was not expected at all! My DS just turned 3 months yesterday and I had a c/s (his head was sideways so I was at a stand-still 10 hrs after being induced). I'm a nervous wreck....How did this happen?!?! Well, I know how it happened, but it took us 1 1/2 yrs to get pg with the help of fertility drugs and now just a few times and we're having another one..so they'll be about 11 months apaprt if my calculations aer right....what am I going to do?? I know I should be happy but I'm nervous about everything going well, esp with the c/s incision, nervous about taking care of 2 under 1 and that my "older" one wont get enough of my time. I need to calm down before I end up sick. I guess I will call my OB on Mon (will they even do anything this early--last af 11/20--b/c of my prior IF probs?) Oh my, this is a lot to take in....Thanks for listening ladies, I had to vent somewhere, we obviously havent told anyone yet...I though the test was just old, but we bought a new one, different brand and same thing...oh my, let the fun begin?!?!

I can understand how you feel, but I think congrats are in order! At least you won't have to go through all of the fertility treatments again, and we have several friends that this happened too, and they say that it has worked out great for the most part. Congrats!! Big Smile

congrats!! You can do it- don't worry! My DH comes from a family of 6 kids- many of them are "irish twins"

my brothers are only 13 mos apart - my mom managed, and then had 2 more after that.

be happy you got a "freebie" and your body seems to have fixed its self!!

Congrats - that is so exciting! ?My mom had c-sections with both my sister and I, and we are 11 1/2 months apart - so it is possible! ?

thanks ladies....it is slowly starting to sink in, I think lol, I know its a blessing, but very scary to say the least. God has a reason for everything, so I am trying to just remember that.

Mrs. Meg&Jay- I was due for af last week, and I truly thought my body was just out of wack from my PCOS like always, but I took one just becasue I am soo tired and I nearly fell over when it said pregnant lol!

Congratulations! Looks like you got a pretty wonderful Christmas present

My best friend is an Irish twin, 10 months exactly apart from her sister. Her mother was certainly surprised but it so happy it went the way it did because afterward she was not able to conceive again. I know it is overwhelming but at least no more infertility treatment is in order.

OMG! Congrats!! That must be scary but exciting at the same time. My brother and I are 19 months apart. Just think how close they will be since they are so close in age.
