From my experience, it comes and goes. Your uterus is stretching to accommodate the baby, hence the cramping. It is normal unless it hurts so bad you breathe like you are in labor or you start bleeding with the cramping.
It comes and goes for me too. I had a lot of cramping last weekend and now it's subsided to dull twinges every so on. Things are growing and stretching even this early, but it's not every day that a "growth spurt" happens. It's all completely normal. It's the same as the sore bbs. Hormones fluctuate and you can't base anything on symptoms alone. I'm sure all will be perfect!
