Babies: 0 - 3 Months

If you call my baby chubby one more time...

I know it shouldn't bother me but every time someone says Baby J is chubby I want to smack them. Random strangers will come up and say "Oh, he definitely loves his food!" WTF! Angry

:littleittybitty is gonna have to smack a bittch!:

  • He's not chubby, he's adorable!

  • I had the opposite issue.  DD was premature, and I was blaming myself and was having PP sadness....so then EVERYONE had to comment on how tiny she was.  Made me mad and want to burst into tears every time.

  • lol.

I call DS our little chunkster. ?Just remember it's the one time in his life when he can be chubby & it's adorable :)
  • Oh God, I get that from my parents all the time! My dad even once asked me to ask her pedi if she may be eating too much! Seriously, people! But then on the other spectrum, there are my ILs who think she's not gaining enough.

My MIL said the same crap. ?She said I was over feeding him. ?He's just a big hungry boy! ?She even once refused to feed him & DS cried until I gave him his bottle. ?Stupid woman.
  • That's such a stupid comment, How do they know your baby loves food? I would be annoyed to.
  • He is no bigger than an average 2 month old...idiots
  • yeah, I have a smaller baby, and some people will say, wow he is so little and then same day another person will say, wow he is such a big boy.

People just talk, they have no idea!

  • People don't know when to shut it. Smake um Smake um!!!!!
  • I know how you feel. I get the same thing except it's not only strangers saying this but friends from church and some family.

The same people always try to tell me that he is hungry if DS cries or makes any sound. AngryAngry

  • I know what you mean.  I've had relatives suggest that I drop one of his bottles because he doesn't need the calories, he just wants to eat.

**rolling eyes** Riiiight, because babies are such boredom eaters.  Jackasses.  I love DS's turkey thighs!

  • Pardon me if I can't find the big deal here, but what's the harm?  Its not like the kid is going to get a fat complex or something....
Seriously, people. If your faith in humanity is destroyed because your parents told you there was a Santa Claus and as it turns out there is no Santa Claus, you are an ignorant, hypersensitive cry baby with absolutely zero perspective. - UnderwaterRhymes
  • OMG this really aggravates me too!

We went to have his picture taken at a pro studio and when the photogrpaher saw him he was like "whoa, he's not missing any meals!"...douche.

We sent out a Christmas card with DS' pic on it, one of my friends actually called him "chunk" when she saw it....Angry

Uhh, for your information he is in the 50% for height and weight so he is perfectly average TYVM!!

     So annoying!
