Clearblue Fertility Monitor?

Anyone using this?  I picked one up and will start using it shortly.  Just wondering if it is going to be a huge waste of money.  I'm hoping to hear some good outcomes.

I used it one month, but it was the month that I started my super long cycles and after CD 28 it just told me to expect AF and wouldnt test anymore.  I have heard really good things about it though.

I use it and really like it.  It also is fairly accurate.  I have had no problems and will continue to use it.

It didn't work for me, but my cycles are too long for it. Boo. 

And ZAngel.. I used Ashley for my wedding photos too. She's so amazing.

If you know you are Oing, it can help you pinpoint peak days to have sex.  I have heard, though, just like opks, that you can get highs and peaks and still not actually ovulate.

I don't ovulate, so it wouldn't really help me - so I haven't used it!  Good luck, though!

It gives me my peak the day I ovulate, so all it really is good for is confirming ovulation. ?OPKs work better for me because they start darkening up a couple days before O and I have more of a warning.

But it's a pain in theass $$-wise because my cycles are long and it would ask for sticks really early on. ?I think I peed on $20/month just with the CBEFM.?

It has worked for me in the sense that it accurately tells me when I ovulate each month. I do have very regular cycles- 28-29 days.

But, 2 1/2 years later, still not PG. ?So I guess, in that sense, it did not work. ?;)?

I used mine for about a year before selling it. From what I've read, a lot of ladies have good luck with it and I found it helpful in pinpointing when I was Oing, but since I had some issues anatomically within my abdominal cavity that was preventing pg, all of the info on when I O'd was a mute point since the actual players couldn't meet up. I kinda wish I still had it now that everything's fixed inside so that I could try it again, but I don't think I'm going to invest in another one. I'm pretty happy with my OPK's and my ferning microscope. I don't think I really need anymore hardware to aid my neurosis. lol. Good luck to you!

This is my 2nd month using it. Not really sure why I broke down and spent that kind of money since I already know I don't O on my own. I guess Im hoping that my body learned how to do it overnight.

I guess it's still alot cheaper than spending 3000 a month trying to get pg. Oh well, another added expense to my ttc pile.

I have heard it works wonders for some ladies.

I know quite a few women who have gotten KU using a CBEFM they swear by them. And my doctor told me to get one so it can't be too bad or doctors wouldn't believe in them. (Thats what I'm telling myself anyway:) Good Luck and I'm sending you lots of Baby Dust!!!!

I love my CBEFM! I got pg my 3rd month using it (after ttc for nearly 2yrs with only 1 mc several months before hand). It turned out to be a blighted ovum, and I lost it just short of 11wks. I waited for my first af, and used it again only to get pg again with it's help! I did loose that one too though.

So, in my opinion it works! I just need to figure out how to get one of those pg's to stick.

Well girls, I'm praying for you all!  I am sure 2009 will be the lucky year for BFPs!

I feel blessed to already have one child who is my world.  I would love to give him a sibling.  I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep on trying
