return formula?

This may be a stupid question but can you return a can of formula?  My aunt got us a can of formula with our Christmas gift... I have no idea where she came up with what one to get but any who can I return it to store??

I don't think you can return it without a receipt anywhere.

You can't return it for money or a GC, but they will let you exchange it for another can anywhere. I had to do this when my DC changed formula and I didn't have the receipts. Babies R Us and Walmart both took the cans back if I exchanged for different cans (I just had to pay the difference if they were more).

I bought the wrong can once and brought it back with a receipt.  They opened it to make sure the seal was still on it, but gave me the cash back for it, even though I paid with my debit card.  This was at BRU.

I cannot return formula, it is a state law apparently here in MI.
