Success after IF

babies on the move=terrifying!!

holy cow...

the boys have been rolling over on to their bellies for the past few weeks, but had not mastered rolling back...until tonight, well ronnie at least. that child was on a rolling rampage...i would lay him on the floor and he kept rolling to his brother, in fact ON TO his brother..then joey would start screaming, so i moved ronnie half way across the room while i was making bottles..i hear joey screaming and go back to look, and there is ronnie draping himself all over joey and giggling. i moved him again and stood back and watched..roll, roll, roll, roll..a matter of seconds and he was back to where joey was..

that combined with the fact that they have to be monitored in the bouncy seats now, because they try to roll out of them, while buckled.

im excited, happy, and terrified all at once..

?there is a measure of sadness, because i feel like soon my boys will be a tiny bit less dependent, and i know its silly, but that makes me a little sad..ugh what am i gonna do when they go to college, if i can't handle crawling!! haha

  • Ha!  I am going through the same thing right now.  I am in sooo much trouble when they actually start crawling.  Right now Hannah is a rolling maniac.  She rolls over to Sophie and steals whatever Sophie is playing with (please see video on the blog for proof!)  She rolls onto Sophie's face.  She rolls across the room and wedges herself between the couch and the wall.  I have to watch her like a hawk!  Poor Sophie hasn't mastered the roll and is no match for Hannah.

Oh and like Ronnie and Joey they manage to wiggle their way out of their bouncy seats.

  • It happens FAST!!!!  It is kind of sad I will admit but my Ella is NO where NEAR crawling considering she won't even lay on her belly for more than 3 minutes hahahaha.

  • I am with you!  It makes me sad thinking about DS sitting up, crawling or walking.  I guess it is because I most likely won't be having any more kids and I want to cherish every moment of infancy DS has.
