i was recently diagnosed with pcos and am in the process of going through the various tests (my u/s is scheduled for next friday).
i have been lurking for a little and am inspired by the support you all provide for each other so i just wanted to say hi.
i am also curious about anyone trying "alternative" routes in addition to the if treatments from their re. i am interested in pursuing acupuncture and possible some herbal remedies as well i just am not even sure how to find someone reputable. any suggestions welcome!
Re: new to the board
welcome and hope you don't have to stay too long!
A lot of us here have tried acupuncture. You could ask your doctor for recommendations, although often they don't really believe in acu. I live in a smallish town, so I just called the ones in the phone book and interviewed them about their experience with IF patients and chose the one that sounded the most knowledgeable.
good luck!
Hi and welcome. I see you are in Maplewood, I am in your neck of the woods and i used an accu in Hoboken. She was great and I would recommend her. Page me if you want her info!
I hope your stay on our board is short and sweet but are happy to offer you any support we can
